Multicultural Day Volunteers Needed
Canyon Creek Multicultural Day Volunteers Needed for March 31st, 2023 Canyon Creek Elementary is putting together a Multicultural Day that will take place on March 31, 2023.  This will be an exciting event for our students, allowing them to learn about the different cultures of their classmates.  The event will feature various tables showcasing cultural traditions, student passports, shared meals, class projects, etc.  We are looking for volunteers that will work directly with Ms. Valint, (the chairperson for this event). Chess Club Winter Session
Chess Club - Winter 2023 Session Come and learn about chess.  All skill levels welcome. Chess Club is starting soon on Tuesdays in the Canyon Creek Library. Chess club will involve a short lesson, followed by chess matches. Children will be grouped on skill level. Students will go directly to the foyer outside the library at dismissal. This is a completely confidential assistance program for families of Canyon Creek Elementary that is coordinated through our Canyon Creek Elementary Office. Want to Volunteer at School? Become an Approved NSD Volunteer!
Per district guidelines, all Northshore School District (NSD) volunteers must have cleared a background check and must be fully vaccinated to volunteer. This process might take as long as 2-3 weeks once submitted, please do ASAP . NSD volunteer approval is valid for ONE year. You will need to renew your volunteer status each year. Watch for a reminder about a month before it expires.
