Calling all 2023-24 INCOMING Kindergarteners!

Canyon Creek PTA would like to welcome your family to our school community! Our mission is to serve our school and community by supporting a positive and inclusive learning environment. We do this by providing after school enrichment programs, bringing art to every classroom through our Art Docent program, hosting fun evening events and more!

One program that is aimed at incoming kindergarteners and their families is Kindergarten Summer Playdates! We arrange four dates over the summer to allow our kindergarteners to meet each other, play together and hopefully make friends before school starts - making those first weeks of school easier!! It’s also a great way for parents to make connections as well! 

Planning & Information

Schedule – all meetings at Stipek Park except August 8^th. 

• Tuesday, July 11th, 4:30-6pm
• Saturday, July 29th, 10:00am – 11:30am
• Tuesday, August 8^th, 4:30-6pm (at Canyon Creek Elementary)
• Saturday, August 26th, 10:00am – 11:30am

Stipek Park is a public park in Bothell, located at 1800 242nd St SE, Bothell, WA 98021. There is street parking available on 19th Avenue SE and 242nd Street SE. This park has a playground, swings, restrooms, basketball court, and a grass field - with walking paths.

• Look for our WELCOME table for the sign-in sheet.  This is a great chance to join the PTA, too! 
• Please fill out and wear name stickers (provided at our table) to identify yourselves (adults & kids) as part of our group. We are hoping to encourage the kindergarteners to learn names and make friends, so when school starts, they know some kiddos! And it's always nice to meet fellow Canyon Creek parents too!
• Bring questions - about PTA, school, logistics, etc.
