Coyote Fun Run SummaryFUNDRAISING:
As of 10/31/2017, our fundraising total was over $20,900, with matching donations still coming in! Our goal was $20,000 - so we met it, thanks to all of all of our donors!!
EVENT:
The Coyote Fun Run took place on Saturday, October 7th, and it was SO much fun!
There were 233 students who checked in at the run, along with 17 classroom teachers and 5 other staff members!! After the run, our families enjoyed water and popcorn provided by the CC PTA, beverages donated by Sparkling Ice and some for purchase delicious smoothies from Jamba Juice.
We held a random prize drawing for some fun prizes, including donated items: FROST & University Bookstore gift cards and YMCA membership; as well as CC PTA provided items including spirit wear and Menchies gift cards.
None of this would have been possible without the dedicated efforts of our amazing volunteers and the wonderful support of our Canyon Creek teachers, staff and community. THANK YOU!
PRIZES:
In order for pledges to be counted toward prizes, donations had to have been submitted (at school or online) no later than Friday, October 13th.
All of the prize winners (fundraising & participation) were announced at school and were published on the PTA website and in the 10/22 issue of the Howler!
