Thank you to everyone who supported Canyon Creek Elementary's Scholastic Book Fair! We had so many kids shop at our Book Fair this year - before school, after school and during normal library times. Santa Food & Toy Drive 2018 Santa is coming to town! Bothell firefighters will be driving a fire engine through local neighborhoods in December to collect food and toys. Running Club EVERY Friday!
Running Club is EVERY Friday! Canyon Creek Elementary and Canyon Creek PTA work together to provide the "Running Club". All Canyon Creek students are invited to participate 8:45-9am every Friday that is a school day. Yes, they do this RAIN OR SHINE!!   Each student has a running club card available in binders located on tables by the softball field. Binders are organized by teacher. Students will run (or walk) with the card and have it scanned for each lap they run. This card will track miles run or walked for the student! 2018-19 Early Release / Dismissals - Canyon Creek
In Northshore school district, we have early release Wednesdays. These are days when students are released 1 1/2 hours early to allow for teacher planning, collaboration & meetings. Most Wednesdays of the school year are early release days, except usually the 1st Wednesday of the school year and the last two (2) Wednesdays of the school year.   The other exceptions to the normal release time are for elementary conferences - there are 5 days in November (noted with an " e" on the school district one-page calendar ) where elementary schools have early dismissal for conferences.
