Focus Day

Head to Olympia with advocates on Monday January 29th to meet with your legislator(s). Join the WSPTA Legislative Committee in the Pritchard Cafeteria from 9am-2pm for handouts. Bring the kids – legislators love meeting with kids and there’s lots to do in Olympia. Contact your legislators to make appointments and use the Facebook event to share appointments, invite others, carpool, etc.

Advocacy Week

Can’t go to Olympia? No Problem, choose one or more ways to advocate during Advocacy Week: Monday, January 29th - Friday, February 2nd.

• Got 2 minutes? Sign up and reply to a VOTER VOICE Action Alert.
• Got 5-10 minutes? Call the Legislative Hotline 1-800-562-6000 to leave your legislators a message on what’s important to you.
• Got 10 minutes? Send a personalized email to your legislators.
• Got 10-15 minutes? Download, print and mail a postcard to legislators. Find the postcards on the WSPTA Advocacy page.
