We are pleased to announce that at our PTA General Meeting on Tuesday, March 13th, the Canyon Creek PTA membership elected four (4) of the five (5) PTA Board positions for the 2018-2019 school year.

These newly elected officers will start "shadowing" the current board members in the same position - to start learning the ins and outs of their position - and start planning for next year!! The official transition to the new board will happen on July 1, 2018.
As you can see, we do still have the President position open (read about responsibilities), and we are hopeful to be able to fill that position at our next PTA General meeting on Tuesday, May 15th. If you are interested in the President role, contact either the current president, Robin Zaback, or the Nominating Committee. They are all knowledgeable about the position and will keep your conversation confidential if you wish. Talking about this with someone does NOT obligate you! And it doesn't have to be limited to a single individual-- the role and responsibilities can be shared. Co-Presidents are always an option! Ask questions...and know that the position will be what you make it - and will not be the same as prior presidents - and that's as it should be.
