Washington State PTA Convention

Four of our PTA board members (current & incoming) attended the 104th Annual Washington State PTA Convention took place over the weekend of May 18-20th in Vancouver, WA.

General Meetings

Besides the training classes, the Washington State PTA held General Meetings where they voted on items including amendments to bylaws and proposed resolutions, among other things. We had three voting delegates representing our PTA (Barby, Melanie & Nicole).

There were inspirational speeches, including one from Washington State Teacher of the Year and National Teacher of the Year, Mandy Manning. 

During these meetings, our PTA was awarded four (4) Awards of Excellence over the weekend! Check them out here. We also received recognition for having 100% Staff Membership Participation!!
