The Northshore Council PTSA Reflections Program Celebration was held the evening of January 12th. It was so great to see nine (9) works of art by Canyon Creek students displayed. More than 300 pieces from the district advanced to the council level and there were more than 500 guests in attendance.
Congratulations to our Canyon Creek students whose pieces are advancing to the state competition: Archini K. for her painting, Conquering the Sun and Iris L. (1st grade) for her painting Loving Mom. Their art work will now move on to be judged along side art work of students throughout the state of Washington.
Congratulations also to our students who won Judges' Choice: Sanjay R. (3rd grade) for his photograph titled Your Goal is Always Within Reach and Archini K. (5th grade) for her poem "Who am I".
All Canyon Creek participants' art work and winning ribbons will be displayed at our Art Gala in the Spring.
