We are excited to announce THREE (3) after school classes offered this fall! Make sure to read the details below - and check out the classes offered.

6crickets logoWe are using a PORTAL called 6crickets to book and manage all after school programs - so you will want to get setup for that prior to registration opening, to ensure quick booking.

  • Register online at 6crickets (Canyon Creek page). Make sure to pre-register before Monday, September 16th.

  • Registration opens Monday, September 16th @ 8:00am and closes Friday, September 20th @ 11:59pm.
  • First Come, First Served

  • A PTA chaperone must be present in every class that is held. The PTA chaperone must be an adult (over 18 years old), must be a current PTA member, and must be a Canyon Creek Elementary approved volunteer. A scholarship is provided for one student per class whose parent is the chaperone for the entire session. (If there is more than one volunteer for this position, a name can be drawn from a hat). Contact Melanie McKenzie at president@canyoncreekpta.org to volunteer to be chaperone and receive the scholarship.

  • Any class without a PTA chaperone present will be cancelled for the day.

WAITLIST FYI - if a class is full when you try to register, feel free to add your student to the waitlist. If someone decides to drop out of the class, the waitlist is used to fill that spot. Also, if the provider sees a high level of interest in a class, they may try to add another teacher!

From Vendor:

The Canyon Creek Uke Group is open to students in grades 1st-4th. The uke is an excellent instrument on which to learn how to play music. It's relatively simple to learn, easy to tote around, inexpensive, super fun, and timelessly popular! In this ensemble, we will jump right into the fun stuff and learn how to play music on the ukulele. By the end of the course, students will know a few chord positions, will be able to play a couple of songs on the ukulele, and be able to sing along. Our instructors bring a classroom set of ukuleles with them to every class for the kids to use and we highly recommend that students also have a ukulele at home to practice.
