Washington State PTA recognizes local PTAs through their annual Awards of Excellence Program. This year, Canyon Creek applied for and received GOLD in four different categories:

• Standards of Excellence Award - recognizes and encourages the use of the best practices of PTA management.

• Outstanding Website Award - recognizes local PTA and council websites as effective forms of communication.

• Outstanding Newsletter & E-blast Award - recognizes local PTA and council newsletters and e-blasts, as they are an important and effective form of communication.

• Outstanding Communications Strategy Award - recognizes local PTA and council for their use of all forms of communication. Use of multiple forms of communication is important in reaching all of the membership and/or community served.

These awards are a reflection of the strong health of our PTA and are a celebration of the work of all of our dedicated members, volunteers, and school community.
